The first official day of preschool homeschool!
The first thing I’ve learned from taking the reigns--kids aren’t fixed learners. Going with the flow and noticing his interests while making curriculum suggestions when appropriate. Not forcing a schedule. Lots of play. A movie. An activity.
Sometimes he can focus for a couple of minutes. Others not at all. I’m noticing the toys he uses all the time with interest and then I make games of those things. Letter A is on the piano keyboard. Colors are on the cars out the window.
Proud of myself for braving this new adventure. Any other mamas doing the same? Would love to know what you’ve learned about early education, yourself, or child by diving in headfirst.
Lots of love,
